Franklin County Drug Task Force investigating heroin distribution

The Franklin County Drug Task Force (FCDTF) had been conducting an ongoing investigation into the distribution of heroin in the Waynesboro and Greencastle communities of Franklin County, Pennsylvania. The investigation is centered on the distribution of heroin by Keith Reese of Waynesboro and his associates.

During the investigation it was determined that Reese was staying in room 207 at the Castle Green Motor Inn, 671 East Baltimore Street, Greencastle, Pennsylvania. A search warrant was obtained for the room and executed on May 2, 2016 at approximately 9:30 PM. Reese was located within the room at the time of the execution of the search warrant, along with another individual, Samantha Yeager.

During the search, a quantity of heroin consistent with distribution was located in plain view along with drug paraphernalia used for the distribution of heroin including, packaging materials and a digital scale.

Both Reese and Yeager have been charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. The two were arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Eyer and jailed on $75,000 bail.
