Chief Information Officer

May 5, 2016 - CHAMBERSBURG, PA - Franklin County Commissioners today hired Kurt Hoffeditz as the new Chief lnformation Officer (CIO) for Franklin County Government. Mr. Hoffeditz possesses over 25 years of Information Technology (IT) experience in all facets of the design, deployment, and life cycle management of complex IT systems and solutions. Mr. Hoffeditz’s project and leadership experience has spanned a wide variety of projects to include document management, virtualization, telephony, cloud computing, network security, and data center operations.

Mr. Hoffeditz's previous position was with the Global Data Consultants, LLC as the Infrastructure Manager and IT Consultant. Mr. Hoffeditz brings a wealth of IT knowledge and experience in his new role with Franklin County. During his time with Global Data Consultants, LLC, Mr. Hoffeditz also worked with several Fortune 500 enterprises in a consulting role to assist them with IT acquisitions for mergers and infrastructure transformations for large scale system upgrades.

Mr. Hoffeditz’s holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industry and Technology from Millersville University. He also holds various IT related certifications from Microsoft, VMware, Dell, and Cisco.
