Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, the Healthy Living Coordinator (HLC) is responsible to create and maintain a culture of health and wellness for Franklin County Government (FCG) employees. The HLC is directly responsible for the growth, development, and implementation of all wellness programs for FCG. The HLC is accountable for delivering exceptional and outstanding programs and services to FCG employees. The HLC is responsible for increasing awareness and engagement in an organization-wide employee health management program. The HLC is critical in innovating and developing new approaches to organization health, to change individual behaviors and drive employee risk reduction. The HLC is responsible for identifying and recording measurable outcomes for individual employees as well as the work place culture as it relates to the overall objective of the County of Franklin wellness program. The HLC is a highly visible representative of the Human Resources department. The HLC is responsible for knowing and properly executing FCG’s mission, themes and character development values and all policies and procedures.

 

Requirements include:

Bachelor’s degree in a health related field. Other professional certifications and trainings may also be required. Three (3) to five (5) years working experience in Wellness or Health Related field, or any combination of acceptable training/experience.
