Franklin County Wins 2015 CCAP Excellence in Website Design Award

Chambersburg, PA - Franklin County was honored as a co-winner of the 2015 CCAP Excellence in Website Design award during the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP) Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County.  This is the association’s premiere annual event, and was held August 2 through August 5, at the Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh.

The Excellence in Website Design Award was presented to two counties, Franklin County and Cumberland County.  The award honors outstanding work in the aesthetic design, content, readability and accessibility of county websites.  The winning websites displayed progressive communication skills, enabling the two counties to enhance ways they conduct county business.  This honor was bestowed upon Franklin County during the Annual Awards Ceremony on August 4.

"We want to be as open and transparent as possible, and to provide the best customer service that we can.  Our website is key to both goals, and this award shows that we're on the right track," said Commissioner & Board Chairman Dave Keller.

Commissioner Robert Thomas added, “The new web site was designed to provide more useful information to the public and make it easier to find. I appreciate our Chief Information Officer Sean Crager's leadership to accomplish this goal.”

“CCAP's recognition of Franklin County should make all of its citizens proud.  Kudos to Sean Crager and his staff.” praised Commissioner Robert Ziobrowski.
