Elected Officials

Franklin County is governed by a board of three county commissioners elected every four years. The Board of Commissioners is vested with policy-making authority to provide certain local services and facilities on a county-wide basis.

In Franklin County, voters also elect eight other elected officials who oversee a variety of county government functions as well as judges of the Common Pleas Court and magisterial district judges.
