Also in attendance were fellow probation officers, friends and family who gathered to welcome the new officers to the department.

Officer Jenna Reiber, a recent graduate of Shippensburg University with a degree in criminal justice, was sworn in as an intake probation officer. Officer Alyssa Riddell, a graduate of York College with a degree in criminal justice, was sworn in as an intensive drug and alcohol probation officer.

During the ceremony, Meyers administered the oath of office, in which both officers pledged to faithfully and competently perform the duties of their positions, uphold the rules and orders of the court, and carry out their responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, honor, and integrity.

The Franklin County Adult Probation Department welcomes Reiber and Riddell and looks forward to their service to the citizens of Franklin County.
