CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Franklin County Commissioners have issued the following statement on the passing of Waynesboro Mayor Richard “Dick” Starliper:

“The Franklin County Commissioners are saddened by the news of Mayor Dick Starliper’s passing. Dick was a pillar of the Waynesboro community, and his decades of public service and leadership are a testament to how much he loved his community and his neighbors. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Starliper family.”
