CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Franklin County Commissioners proudly presented the September Employee of the Month award to Kimberly Kulpak during the board’s Sept. 30 public meeting. Kulpak has been employed by Franklin County since June 2015 and serves as the chief deputy in the Franklin County Clerk of Courts office.

September’s Employee of the Month recipient was determined by the Special Thanks and Recognition (STAR) Committee, which received eight nominations for the September award, one of which was for Kulpak.

“Kim Kulpak … consistently goes above and beyond to support the jail, resolve problems and help ensure that important responsibilities are handled correctly,” read the nomination. “Kim is always willing to lend a hand, and there have been numerous occasions when she has gone out of her way to help us work through issues, identify solutions and move forward.

“What I appreciate most is Kim’s willingness to step in and assist, even when an issue may not directly fall within her responsibilities,” the nomination continued. “Whenever the jail encounters a problem and needs assistance, Kim is incredibly responsive and quick to help. She approaches every situation with a friendly, professional and positive attitude, making her someone the county can depend on. Kim’s support has been especially valuable when issues involve court orders. Her willingness to work closely with the jail and communicate effectively helps ensure that court orders are followed properly. On one occasion, she was even willing to assist on a Sunday to make sure a court order was followed. Kim worked diligently to communicate with the jail, address the situation and help ensure everything was completed successfully.”

“Beyond her ability to solve problems, Kim contributes to a positive team atmosphere where others feel comfortable reaching out for assistance,” said the nomination. “Her dedication, reliability, professionalism and genuine willingness to help make a meaningful difference. Kim is a true team player and a great example of someone who consistently puts service and teamwork first. I believe she is very deserving of Employee of the Month recognition.”

The Franklin County Commissioners congratulated Kulpak on her recognition and thanked her for her excellent work and for exuding such a high standard of knowledge, leadership and excellence to the employees and residents of Franklin County.
