Employee Spotlights
Employee Of The Month
Each month, employees nominate coworkers to be named Employee of the Month. Winners are chosen by the Special Thanks And Recognition (STAR) Committee and formally recognized at a Commissioners’ public board meeting. The county’s Employee of the Year is then selected from that year’s 12 Employees of the Month.
Franklin County Values Service
At Franklin County, SERVICE stands for Stewardship, Engagement, Responsiveness, Visibility, Integrity, Continuous Improvement and Employees. Each year, employees nominate coworkers for these awards based on their performance throughout the previous year. The county’s Division Leaders then vote on the nominations, and recipients are honored each March on Employee Appreciation Day.
